Operational AI Day

A done-with-you workshop where a senior AI engineer and product strategist scope your biggest operational bottleneck, ship a working Claude workflow, and train you to run it. Choose one full 8-hour day or two 4-hour days built for busy executives. You own everything.

Why we built this

You have been told AI will change everything. You still have not shipped anything operational.

You are a founder running a real business. You do not have a spare engineer to experiment with AI. You do not have six months for a consulting engagement. You have operational problems that quietly cost you hours every week.

Operational AI Day moves you from aspirational to operational. You do not leave with a slide deck. You leave with a deployed workflow in your environment and the literacy to extend it.

Choose your format

One full day or two focused half-days

Same senior team, same outcome, same deliverables. Pick the schedule that fits how you and your leadership team actually work.

1 × 8-hour day

Full Day

One consecutive working day with your founder, CEO, or operator in the room. Best when you can clear the calendar and want maximum momentum in a single session.

One 8-hour build day, typically 9am–5pm in your timezone

Best for: Founders and teams who can block a full day without interruption

  • Fastest path from your first chat to a deployed workflow
  • Single-room momentum: diagnose, build, and hand off in one sitting
  • Ideal when observers can join for the full session

2 × 4-hour days

Executive Split

The same eight hours split across two half-days, usually within the same week. Built for executives who cannot disappear for a full calendar day but can protect two focused blocks.

Two 4-hour sessions, often Tuesday/Thursday or back-to-back mornings

Best for: Busy executives, CEOs, and founders with packed calendars

  • Same deliverables and senior team as the full-day format
  • Day 1: diagnose, architect, and start the build
  • Day 2: integrate, test on real examples, document, and hand off

What you get

Eight hours total. One outcome you own.

Whether you choose one full day or two half-days, we ship one production-ready AI workflow that solves one named operational problem. You leave with:

  • A working AI skill or agent deployed in your environment: your Claude account, your data, your control.
  • A Standard Operating Procedure your team can use on day two.
  • Connector setup for the systems we touch (Gmail, Drive, Slack, your CRM, or whatever the workflow needs).
  • A prioritized backlog of the next problems we identified and could solve.
  • A Loom walkthrough (about 10 minutes) for team members who were not in the room.
  • Two follow-up calls: one-week and 30-day check-ins at no extra charge.

How the day runs

Pre-work. Build time. Follow-up.

The timeline below follows the full-day format. On the Executive Split (2 × 4-hour days), we cover the same work across two sessions: Day 1 through Hour 4, Day 2 from Hour 5 through handoff.

5-7 days prior

30-minute chat

We scope the one problem with specificity, confirm it fits the format, and map prerequisites. If your problem is not a fit, we tell you up front. We do not take engagements we cannot deliver.

2-3 days prior

Written brief and pre-day checklist

Scope confirmed in writing. You receive a short checklist (Claude account, access credentials, data samples, calendar block). No surprises.

Hour 1

Diagnostic and setup

Walk current AI usage. Connect Claude to your stack. Whiteboard the current-state workflow.

Hours 2-3

Architecture

Decompose the problem. Decide what we ship. Educate as we go so you understand skills, agents, and connectors.

Hour 4

Build, part 1

Live build of the primary skill or agent. We drive the keyboard. You watch and contribute. Working v0 by end of the hour.

Hours 5-6

Build, part 2 and integration

Wire into real data sources. Test on 5-10 real workflow examples you bring. Handle edge cases.

Hours 7-8

Handoff and training

Document the SOP. Train you to run and extend the workflow. Confirm ownership, access, and next steps.

Who this is for

Founders, not enterprises.

Operational AI Day is built for SMB founders and CEOs running businesses between $1M and $50M in revenue. You are owner-operated. You have already tried Claude or ChatGPT. You want to operationalize one specific workflow, fast, and own the result.

You are a fit if

  • Your business is roughly $1M-$50M in revenue with about 5-50 employees.
  • The founder or CEO is in the room and lives the workflow we are automating.
  • You are already AI-curious (Claude Pro/Max or ChatGPT Plus).
  • Your primary workflows run in English.
  • Up to 5 observers can join. The two active seats are for the founder/CEO and the person who lives the workflow.

Right-fit problem examples

  • A services agency with too many emails to triage
  • An e-commerce founder drowning in customer service tickets
  • A logistics operator doing estimates on spreadsheets
  • A real estate broker generating proposals manually
  • A consulting partner whose team rebuilds the same SOWs
  • A SaaS founder whose inbound lead form goes to an inbox no one watches

Not the right fit

  • Companies that need a new product built from scratch
  • Heavily regulated industries needing formal validation (FDA, HIPAA, financial compliance)
  • Anyone who needs an AI strategy document. We build, we do not strategize on paper.
  • Multi-week custom integrations or backend builds
  • Teams whose founder is not in the room
  • Anyone whose problem is fundamentally a people problem dressed up as a tech problem

What makes us different

We are operators who ship. Not consultants who recommend.

1

Claude Partner certified

We are certified on the Anthropic stack. We use these tools in our own businesses before we offer them as a service.

2

Senior bar, no junior fill

One senior AI engineer plus one senior product strategist for the full engagement. No rotating support and no analyst doing the work behind the scenes.

3

You own everything

We ship in your environment, your data, your control. Nothing in our cloud. Nothing licensed to us. When the day ends, you can extend it without us.

What is included

One engagement. Everything you need to run it.

Your intro chat, written brief, the full eight hours, summary and Loom video, two follow-up calls, and SOP documentation are included. No hourly rates. No scope-creep surprises. No software licensing to us.

All-in engagement

One problem solved · Two senior team members · Full day or 2 half-days

  • Intro chat and pre-day brief
  • Your choice of format: 1 × 8-hour day or 2 × 4-hour days
  • Written summary and Loom walkthrough within 48 hours
  • Two follow-up calls (1-week, 30-day) at no extra charge

Pricing is shared during the booking chat once we confirm fit and format.

In-person delivery outside the metro may add travel (agreed during the chat). Additional Operational AI Days for new problems are scoped separately. Optional ongoing maintenance is available after the engagement; the first 90 days of issue response are included at no charge. The Executive Split includes the same deliverables as the full day.

How to start

One conversation. That is the start.

Book a 20-minute chat. We learn about you and your one biggest operational problem. By the end of the call, we both know whether the format is a fit and which schedule works best: one full day or two half-days. If it is, we send a scoping brief within 48 hours and book your sessions within the next two weeks. If it is not, we tell you what would fit better.

No discovery deck. No proposal cycle. No three-meeting sales process.

Operational AI Day FAQ

What is Operational AI Day?

Operational AI Day is a done-with-you workshop from Dom & Tom and Fortylaunch. A senior AI engineer and product strategist deploy a working Claude workflow for one named operational problem. Choose one 8-hour day or two 4-hour days for busy executives. You own the result.

Can I book Operational AI Day as two half-days instead of one full day?

Yes. The Executive Split format is 2 × 4-hour days, usually within the same week. You get the same senior team, same eight hours, and the same deliverables. We recommend it when a founder or CEO cannot block a full calendar day but can protect two focused half-days.

What if my problem does not fit in 8 hours?

We tell you during the chat. If your problem is too big for the format, we help you scope it down to a fittable shape or recommend a different engagement. We do not take work we cannot deliver.

Do you offer Operational AI Day in person?

Yes. For the local metro at no extra cost, and elsewhere with travel agreed during the chat. Remote works equally well when the problem is named clearly and we have access to the right systems.

What if I want multiple Operational AI Days?

We can run additional Operational AI Days for additional named problems. Each engagement solves one problem. Most clients start with one problem in either the full-day or Executive Split format, then add a second engagement after results land.

What happens if the AI model changes or breaks the workflow?

We build with skills and connectors that wrap the model, not raw API calls. When Anthropic releases new models, the wrapper stays stable while inference improves. Optional maintenance is available after the engagement. For 90 days post-engagement we respond to issues at no charge.

Do I need to be technical to book Operational AI Day?

No. You need to be a decision-maker on the workflow we are automating. We handle the technical work. You bring business context. By end of day, you will know enough to extend simple workflows yourself.

Can my team join the Operational AI Day?

Yes. Up to 5 observers can join at no extra cost. The two active build seats are reserved for the founder or CEO and the person who lives the workflow.

Is Operational AI Day just consulting?

No. Consultants leave you with a recommendation. We leave you with a deployed workflow your business uses on day two. The deliverable is operational, not strategic.

How do I get pricing?

Book a 20-minute chat. Once we confirm the problem fits and which format works best, we share engagement pricing. You get speed and outcome certainty: harnesses, templates, and methodology compressed into eight focused hours.

Why not just do it myself with Claude?

You should for the easy stuff. We pick up where DIY gets brittle: multi-step automation, connectors and integrations, and workflows that need to keep working six months from now.

One problem solved. You own the result.

Book a 20-minute chat. We will confirm fit and whether a full day or two half-days works better for your calendar.
